BLAKE - POSTED 05.03.09

It's official, I'm the new member of Classical BRIT award-winning band BLAKE... as reported by the Telegraph last week (See the Telegraph article here). I am really excited about what lies ahead. We have a UK tour starting on 22 March (for more details see www.blakeofficial.com) and a number of exciting concerts all over the world so I think it will be a good year! All the guys have been very welcoming and are really happy to have me on board.

One change is that I will be known as Barney from now on, not Humphrey. This may change over time but we think that Barney suits the image of the band better so we will see!! I will keep you posted on all the exciting things we get up to but you can also follow all our news at the Blake website.

USA TRIP - POSTED 14.11.08

I have just returned from a great two weeks in New York and LA having had meetings with producers, managers and writers. From these meetings, a collaboration with producer Aaron Albano and writer Stevie Blacke is now under way to write and produce some new material in the new year - I will keep you posted!

BRITISH STYLE GENIUS - POSTED 09.08.08

I will be featured in British Style Genius on BBC2 having a bespoke suit made with British designer and tailor Timothy Everest in the second programme of this series on British fashion. (I did not get to keep the suit!)

I'm presently working on a new project called 'Englishman Stateside'. I'm setting-up after-dinner concerts at private venues in the USA taking a varied programme of classical and cross-over repertoire, mixed with that touch of English charm and style! Watch this space...
